Music-Performance-Poetry, thus far


DESTINATION: 1111 YEAR FIVE

This event is all about the creative process. the schedule below highlights some of our musical, poetic, performance, film and other festive experiences. the south building and the north building at the 1111 godfrey complex will host art work in nearly all media with artists invited from throughout the state. this is truly a unique experience. check back for a listing of artists...

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 26, 6-11PM
look for poetry and performance during the evening; also seek out
"beyond the door" by little ms. winikaitis. inadition, jeff hudson and gregg mann will be working the film-video-musical experience too.

WaZoBia is a Grand Rapids, MI, based music ensemble. The five member group has a diverse musical background that they bring together to create a unique musical sound that combines traditional African and Afro-Cuban drumming with a variety of other musical influences and styles arranged with modern compositional techniques.
